This release is the oldest in the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series to date, featuring bourbon pulled from across three floors of rickhouse F and one floor of rickhouse X at Heaven Hill Distillery’s main campus. The nose presents deep oak tones, slightly musty and earthy, complemented by sweeter elements. On the palate, flavors of nougat, coconut oil, and mixed nuts are accompanied by notes of ginger, seasoned oak, and an ample layer of spice, leading to a long finish with lingering notes of caramel and tannin.
